Brunch just got a lot more fun! This pull apart bread is so easy to make with just a handful of ingredients. Cut and score the bread, pop in the brie, top with jam and voila! This recipe could easily swap out the carrot cake jam for another favorite like blueberry bourbon ginger jam or strawberry daiquiri. It would be ideal to keep with a brie wheel for the cheese because it melts well and compliments the bread.
Watch this wheel of fun disappear at your next gathering! It will be the talk of the party!
Ingredients
sourdough boule
brie wheel
olive oil
parsley
-
Carrot Cake Jam
Directions
Take the sourdough boule and slice the top off to make a whole on top the size of the brie wheel.
Next, slice the top of a brie cheese wheel off.
Score the sides of the bread--but be careful not to cut all the way to the base of the bread. These will be the edges that you'll pull off later.
Cover the bread in an herb & olive oil blend & move to a baking sheet.
Place the brie inside the hole of the sourdough and cover with carrot cake jam.
Bake at 350° for 22-25 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Garnish with parsley.
Slice up the remaining bread & cover with the herb & olive oil blend. Place in the oven at 350° for about 10 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
Serve warm!
